As a Technology Trainer at TOMRA Food, you help people succeed with our technology. Your work supports customers and internal teams as they learn, adopt, and confidently use TOMRA Food solutions in real-world environments. Through thoughtful training experiences and clear communication, you make complex technology accessible and practical. By listening to customer needs and continuously improving how we teach, you help build long-term capability and strengthen TOMRA Food’s role as a trusted partner in the food processing industry.

In this role, you value working closely with customers and internal teams to understand their goals and challenges. You listen carefully, communicate clearly, and adjust your training approach to support different learning needs and real-world conditions. Your approach helps customers feel supported and confident as they use TOMRA Food technology in their day-to-day operations.

If you believe you have what it takes to succeed in this role, even if you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs and course content for both external customers and internal teams
  • Create and continuously update training materials, technical documentation, and structured learning content to support onboarding, system upgrades, and new product adoption
  • Assess training needs during customer interactions and recommend targeted solutions to address skill gaps and drive product adoption
  • Partner with Field Service, Technical Support, and Service Leadership teams to identify skill gaps and implement structured training solutions
  • Support customers during implementation to enable confident use and adoption of TOMRA technology
  • Contribute to TOMRA Food’s digital learning platforms, including knowledge base articles, webinars, and online courses
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers
  • Deliver training initiatives on time and to a high standard of quality
  • Promote a “Safety First” culture throughout the company, our customers, and our industry

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronics, sustainable manufacturing, or industrial engineering is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in technical service or a comparable technical environment
  • Experience delivering training in a technical or operational environment, including virtual or remote formats
  • Ability to build trust and credibility when working with individuals and groups
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and clearly explain technical concepts and procedures
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and applying technical documentation and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for training delivery and documentation
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Customer‑focused approach when delivering training and support
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally, with travel representing approximately 40% of the role
  • Ability to work in an open office environment and at industrial customer sites
  • Ability to work in food processing plants, farms, cold storage facilities, and outdoor environments with varying temperatures
