Overview

Performance Contracting, Inc. seeks an Associate Project Engineer at its facility located at 1080 Marina Village Parkway, Suite 300, Alameda, CA 94501.

Job Description

Conduct safety meetings. Create and manage punch lists. Support the quality control measures outlined in the QA/QC program. Prepare RFI’s and submittals. Do labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance quantitative takeoffs for material ordering. Support the implementation of the job schedule. Coordinate warranties and O&M’s material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing. Review project proposals and plans to develop project objectives. Identify project phases and elements. Establish specifications for projects based on a thorough review of performance standards, client requirements, and product design. Telecommuting allowed 4 days/week in office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Additionally, the applicant must have completed undergraduate or graduate course work in: 1) Strength of Materials or related course; 2) Soil Mechanics or related course; 3) Reinforced Concrete Structures or related course; 4) Hydraulics or related course; 5) Engineering Drawing or related course; 6) Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Dynamics, or related course; and 7) Transport Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related course.

RATE OF PAY: $83,533 per year
