Systems Test & Integration Engineer
Role Overview
This role is responsible for defining, integrating, and maturing test environment capabilities across the full engineering lifecycle for advanced missile defense systems. You will support requirements development, system-level test integration, and validation efforts while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful transition from development to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop test requirements and test system capabilities supporting system verification and validation
- Support hardware integration activities, including validation testing and factory transition readiness
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless system-level integration
- Contribute to test planning, execution, and analysis across multiple phases of development
- Support risk identification and mitigation related to test infrastructure, cost, and schedule
Required Qualifications
- Experience defining test requirements and test system capabilities
- Hands-on experience supporting hardware integration, validation, and factory transitions
- Strong systems engineering mindset with proven cross-functional collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with modeling, simulation, prototyping, or test bed integration
- Experience identifying technology risks, cost drivers, or opportunities for affordability improvements
- Ability to mentor teammates and support implementation efforts on large-scale development programs
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
