Position Summary

The Shift Operations Lead will work closely with the Distribution Supervisor to direct the daily workflow and to assign tasks to warehouse staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Direct work flow as dictated by daily work load
• Assign daily operational priorities with the help of Distribution Supervisor
• Ensure best practices are followed by shift staff
• Enforce safety policies on the floor
• Training and follow up for new staff
• Work closely with Distribution Supervisor to direct staff to assigned tasks
• Perform the duties of a Warehouse Associate, when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move pieces using a pallet jack and dolly
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Possess excellent customer service, time management, and prioritization skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud

Minimum Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
