Location: Houston-based firm (Remote)
Experience Required: 2+ Years
Position Type: Full-Time | Fully Remote
Billable Range: 1500–2000 hours (flexible, set by attorney)
Salary: DOE + Bonus Based on Billable Performance
A respected mid-size Houston-based energy law firm is seeking a Title Opinion Attorney to join its thriving oil & gas practice. This role is fully remote, with 70% of the firm working remotely full-time.
What You'll Do:
Draft and review drilling, division order, and acquisition title opinions
Conduct detailed research and analysis of land records, mineral conveyances, and ownership chains
Work with operators across Texas and other producing jurisdictions
Collaborate with attorneys and land professionals to resolve complex title issues
✅ Ideal Candidate:
2+ years of experience in oil & gas title opinion work
Familiarity with Texas land and title law
Excellent research and drafting skills
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
Compensation & Perks:

Annual bonus for exceeding billable goal
