You will: Create visual assets for a wide range of design projects, using creativity, ingenuity, passion and restraint to bring beautiful and impactful design to life across various mediums (print, packaging, digital) Collaborate with fellow designers, writers, producers, and internal stakeholders to deliver timely, high quality assets (be it a new menu for our cafe, an online asset, or packaging for new products and coffees) Take on projects of all sizes, including small, day-to-day design updates to support our cafes Create work in a fast-paced setting that ranges from content updates in already-established designs, to supporting the Senior Designer and Art Director in creating work from concept to final touches Execute sustainable, on-budget designs You are: Excited to work with typography Deeply empathetic, always taking the viewpoint of our guests and how to delight them while honoring brand standards A professional: you are serious about your work without taking yourself too seriously A passionate advocate for simplicity, restraint, and elegance as a design aesthetic Invigorated by feedback: you seek it out, receive it gracefully and incorporate it into your process to create ever-more beautiful design work Inspired by collaboration, you work best in a participatory team environment Delightful to work with, always bringing a sense of humor and infectious ‘can-do' attitude Comfortable with ambiguity and comfortable pivoting on direction and priorities for projects Comfortable managing multiple projects of varying levels of complexity and scope at once You have: 2+ years working as a graphic designer either in-house or agency level Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in a design discipline (i.e., graphic, UI/UX) or related field Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and other design software An expert eye for color and typography Last but not least, a deep love for great coffee, food, and exceptional guest experiences
