Job description

Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging business needs, product strategy, and technical execution for complex, integration-driven platforms. This role requires a strong blend of domain expertise, analytical thinking, and communication skills to translate business requirements into clear, actionable solutions.

You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, defining product requirements, and ensuring seamless collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Design teams. The role demands deep experience in API-driven systems, digital onboarding workflows, and financial operations such as account opening, maintenance, and money movement.

The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving capabilities, a structured approach to requirement definition, and the ability to validate solutions in real-world scenarios while ensuring compliance with regulatory and business standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis: Gather, analyse, and translate business and product requirements into clear functional specifications and system behaviours

User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Define detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows that enable seamless delivery by engineering teams

API & Integration Understanding: Work closely with engineering teams to define and validate API interactions, data flows, and system integrations

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and external stakeholders to reduce ambiguity and ensure alignment on requirements

Digital Workflow Design: Support design and implementation of workflows for digital account onboarding, maintenance, and money movement processes

Validation & Testing: Perform functional validation, test scenarios, and edge-case analysis to ensure solution accuracy and completeness

Risk & Compliance Alignment: Ensure solutions meet legal, regulatory, and risk requirements across financial and transactional systems

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex, technology-driven environments
  • Strong experience working with APIs, data flows, and system integrations
  • Proven expertise in digital account opening, account maintenance, and/or money movement workflows (transfers, TOA, bank linking)
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, executable requirements and system behavior
  • Strong experience in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Proven ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Design teams
  • Experience ensuring solutions meet risk, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience in functional testing, validation, and real-world scenario analysis
  • Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments with evolving requirements
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 36,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 126,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. This position is not available for independent contractors No applications will be considered if received more than 120 days after the date of this post
