Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThis role combines hands-on warehouse operations with driving and transportation duties to ensure materials, products, and equipment move safely and efficiently through the facility and to off-site locations. You will handle loading and unloading, inventory control, and order preparation while operating material handling equipment and a large box truck in compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, stage, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against documentation, and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Prepare outbound shipments by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders for delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory systems or manual documentation to support inventory management and control.
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures, material identification standards, and labeling requirements to ensure proper stock rotation and traceability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following established safety standards and housekeeping practices.
- Operate a large box truck to transport materials, products, or equipment to and from designated on-site and off-site locations.
- Secure loads properly in the truck to prevent shifting, damage, or safety hazards during transport.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with customers, vendors, and coworkers during deliveries and pickups.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Comply with all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations while driving and operating equipment.
- Maintain delivery logs, bills of lading, and other transportation documentation as required.
- Use an ERP or other inventory system to track inventory movements, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Deliver materials to off-site locations as needed to support production and operational needs.
- Support shipping and receiving functions by coordinating inbound and outbound freight and ensuring accurate documentation.
Essential Skills- Material handling and warehouse experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Experience moving materials throughout facilities and warehouses using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Basic computer skills to use inventory systems, ERP tools, and electronic documentation.
- Ability to follow FIFO, material identification, and labeling requirements.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Ability to safely operate a large box truck in compliance with traffic and company safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail when verifying shipments, inspecting materials, and preparing orders.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Inventory or cycle counting experience.
- Shipping and receiving experience, including preparing and processing related documentation.
- Experience using an ERP or other inventory management system to track inventory and material movements.
- Experience delivering materials to off-site locations.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional manner.
- Familiarity with maintaining delivery logs, bills of lading, and transportation records.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
