The Opportunity
You will play a critical role in producing high-quality fabricated metal components that directly support our field operations. From structural steel elements to custom project-specific builds, your craftsmanship will ensure the structural integrity of diverse projects across the region. This is a hands-on position within a company that has offered stability and professional growth for over 30 years.
How You Will Make an Impact
Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes based on strict project specifications.
Interpret complex shop drawings and field measurements to produce accurate, high-quality custom metal work.
Operate industrial fabrication equipment including band saws, presses, shears, and grinders to prepare materials for assembly.
Validate that all fabricated components meet company quality standards and project requirements prior to site deployment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment by adhering to rigorous housekeeping and safety protocols.
Execute field modifications or assisted installations when necessary to support demanding project timelines.
Inspect finished welds and structures for integrity, proactively identifying and correcting any technical deficiencies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a welder or metal fabricator within a construction or manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and precision measurements.
Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding techniques with a focus on structural integrity.
Expertise in working with structural steel, aluminum, and miscellaneous metals.
Valid driver's license and a consistent, reliable work history.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Current Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent).
Advanced TIG welding experience.
Familiarity with OSHA shop safety standards and advanced layout mathematics.
