Welder / Fabricator (MIG & TIG)

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay: $25–$30/hr (DOE)

Shift: Day Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong experience in TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel and MIG welding across multiple metals. This role requires high attention to detail, the ability to read and work from blueprints and weld symbols, and experience fabricating parts from raw materials. Candidates should take pride in producing precise, high-quality, cosmetic welds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel with a high level of proficiency
• Execute MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, including use of a spool gun
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately
• Fabricate parts from raw materials using saw cutting, shearing, light press brake, and roll forming
• Maintain strict standards for precision, fit, and cosmetic quality
• Work independently while meeting production and quality expectations

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in TIG welding (aluminum & stainless)
• Experience with MIG welding across multiple materials
• Ability to read and fabricate from prints with weld symbols
• Hands-on experience with sheet metal and general fabrication processes
• Minimum 3+ years of fabrication and welding experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to fabricate complete assemblies independently from technical drawings
• Experience in a job shop or fast-paced fabrication environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

This is a family-owned fabrication shop with a culture-first mindset. You’ll work in a small, supportive team with opportunities to cross-train in multiple departments based on production needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
