Two Caregiver Positions Available
Dementia & Mobility Experience Preferred
Saba Home Health is hiring dependable, professional non-medical caregivers/personal attendants for a private-home client needing assistance with daily living, safety supervision, companionship, memory-care support, and mobility assistance.
This is a Texas Personal Assistance Services position. Services are non-medical and unskilled. Caregivers follow the agency care plan and do not perform skilled nursing tasks.
Pay: $12–$15/hour depending on experience, availability, and assignment fit. Higher end reserved for strong dementia/memory-care experience, weekend availability, reliability, and professional presentation.
This is a W-2 hourly, non-exempt position. Overtime, if applicable, is paid according to wage-and-hour requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
Calm, patient, punctual, polished, and reliable. Experience with dementia, memory loss, redirection, fall precautions, transfers, toileting, bathing, dressing, mobility support, and private-home care is strongly preferred.
Duties may include:
Safety supervision, companionship, redirection, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, ambulation support, meal preparation, light housekeeping related to the client’s care, medication reminders if allowed by the care plan, and reporting changes or concerns to the agency.
This position does not include skilled nursing, wound care, injections, medication administration, therapy, clinical assessments, or tasks outside the agency’s service plan.
Professional Presentation Required:
This private-home assignment has high expectations for professionalism, communication, reliability, and appearance. Caregivers must follow agency dress code, including clean scrubs or approved attire, closed-toe shoes, neat grooming, minimal jewelry, no strong fragrance, limited phone use while on shift, calm professional communication, visible tattoos covered, and visible facial piercings/non-essential facial jewelry removed or covered while on shift unless an approved accommodation applies.
Requirements:
Must have caregiving experience, be dependable and punctual, be comfortable with mobility assistance and fall precautions, pass required background checks, follow agency policies and care plan, maintain confidentiality, and communicate professionally. CNA experience is a plus but not required.
Benefits:
PTO eligibility begins after completion of the 90-day introductory period and accrues according to company policy. Part-time PTO is prorated based on hours worked. Health insurance and 401(k) eligibility are based on applicable plan terms, hours worked, and agency requirements.
