Work Environment
This is a hybrid-eligible position, where Monday through Wednesday would be working in one of our offices, with Thursday and Friday eligible for work-from-home days. Office locations include : Reno (NV), Monterey (CA), Roseville (CA), Bakersfield (CA), Phoenix (AZ), and Spokane (WA).
Job Overview :
The Rate Implementation Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of all rate, rule, form, and product changes across Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Agriculture products. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant implementation of Rate Committee decisions and regulatory filings. The Manager will oversee a dedicated team of Business Analysts, Developers, and QA resources while partnering closely with Actuarial, Product, IT, Compliance, and QA.
This position requires a strong technical background in insurance rating, underwriting rules, and forms, with the ability to interpret actuarial and product decisions and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has prior experience in actuarial, rating, product management, or insurance system implementation and is able to operate independently with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities :
Lead and develop the Rate, Rule & Form Implementation Team, including Business Analysts, Developers, and QA.
Interpret Rate Committee decisions and Precis documents into actionable technical specifications.
Serve as the primary liaison between Actuarial, Product, IT, and Compliance.
Build and continuously improve implementation workflows, documentation templates, coding standards, and handoff procedures.

Salary Range : $95,825 - $158,111
