Role snapshot

Operate a servo-driven narrow-web flexographic digital hybrid press to produce prime labels, including traditional flexo printing and die-cutting.

Schedule

Night shift : Monday–Wednesday, 4 : 30 PM–6 : 00 AM

    • Core duties

  • Review job tickets for materials, ink colors, and print order.
  • Set up press and die station; load substrate, mount plates, and install tooling.
  • Set print impression and make precise mechanical adjustments.
  • Confirm substrate, inks, and tooling meet spec before and during runs.
  • Adjust ink distribution, press speed, and drying to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot print issues quickly to limit downtime and scrap.
  • Perform routine maintenance : oiling, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Maintain safety standards and a tidy, well-organized workspace.
  • Partner with production, quality, and supervision to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

    • Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience on servo-driven narrow-web presses : Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or equivalent. Experience required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving orientation with a commitment to quality and throughput.
  • Physically capable of standing, lifting, and performing press duties.
  • Knowledge of UV and water-based inks; adhesive label and film substrates.
  • Basic computer skills for job tracking / scheduling.
  • Strong communicator and collaborative teammate.
