Assistant Coordinator / Estimator

We’re looking for an Assistant Coordinator / Estimator to join our estimating team and help prepare accurate bids for commercial kitchen installation projects. This is a great role for someone detail-oriented with strong math skills who enjoys working with numbers and project details. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications Assist with takeoffs and material quantity calculations Communicate with vendors for pricing Prepare bid documents and proposals Maintain organized records of estimates and vendor quotes Support senior estimator with administrative tasks Prior estimating experience preferred, but willing to train candidates with relevant skills Strong attention to detail and organization Knowledge in Google Sheets, QuickBooks, and basic math Good communication skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Requirements Experience in construction management or related field is preferred. Familiarity with construction estimating practices. Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage contracts and agreements. Knowledge of cost control techniques within a construction context. Previous experience on construction sites is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of field operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
