About the job:

• Work in a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning , Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. Looking for C++ Application Developers to work in a rapid pace, collaborative, small-team environment and be able to engineer, prototype, develop, integrate, and test advanced software solutions into Government frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Work independently on program tasks or features, may own small projects or large tasks; technical lead or lead developer for an Agile team Demonstrates fluent, idiomatic mastery of C++; comfortable with software design and architecture, not embedded C++ Regularly communicates with customers, present status, engage in program-level meetings and processes.

About you:

• At least fifteen years (15) of professional experience and fluency in C++ At least two years of professional experience using Linux operating systems Knowledge of writing and debugging CMake Knowledge of writing and debugging shell scripts Knowledge of Data Structures Docker Python Git/Gitlab A Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Preferred Skills: An advanced degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science Experience with software prototyping, development, and integration within government frameworks Experience with the exploitation and analysis of OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or other remotely sensed data Professional experience with DevSecOps Professional or academic experience with Agile software development Salary Range: $105,000 - $180,000 + an additional 25% of salary, employer contribution into a SEP IRA Grey Matters Defense Solutions, LLC offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term, long-term disability, and voluntary benefits such as accident, hospital indemnity, and wellness benefits.
