Established in March 2012, The Dirty Buffalo brings the taste of Western New York to Hampton Roads! We are a family-owned, locally operated restaurant that focuses on delivering great wings and other Northern comfort food in a casual, family-friendly environment. We are also growing! We opened our first franchise in 2021 and plan to continue to expand throughout the Southeast. Skills:

• You’re outgoing and friendly and love talking to people
• You’re a customer service rockstar and a great salesperson. Your phone voice is on point!
• You have great attention to detail when it comes to entering orders made by phone or online
• You take pride in your work and want to get every order right, every time
• You prefer working on a team, helping out your peers, and jumping in where you are needed - even if it’s cleaning bathrooms or mopping floors
• You can handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Maybe you even love a good challenge!
• You take your job seriously and don’t call out or show up late unless it’s a true emergency
• You’re excited to learn something new and be part of something good.

Responsibilities:

• You go above and beyond, every day, every shift, to make the guest happy
• You know our menu inside and out, can walk a guest through all the options that come with their order, recommend favorite dishes, and answer questions about available specials.
• Your top priority is the guest and greet every guest with a smile as soon as they walk in the door.
• You check every order to ensure it’s accurate before you let it leave the building.
• You show up on time, in uniform, with a smile every day
• You take and receive direction like a pro and when you don’t understand something you ask lots of questions.
• When you see something that isn’t right, or receive a complaint from a guest, you go out of your way to make it right.
• You open and close cash registers with ease.

You must be willing and able to:

• Stand up and move for most - if not all - of your shift
• Work weekends and holidays
• Lift up to 25 lbs
• Get to work in inclement weather (we are from Buffalo, we don’t close for snow)
• Understand and communicate in the predominant language of our guests.

• You operate, clean and maintain a commercial dishwasher and other kitchen equipment.
• You stay organized, put things back where they belong, and keep cleaning throughout your shift
• You maintain correct sanitation concentrations and heat levels to ensure we keep our guests safe.
• You are a skilled communicator and love to keep yourself and everyone else on task.
• You show up on time, in uniform, ready to work every day
• You take and receive direction and help others when they fall behind
• When you see something that isn’t right, you go out of your way to make it right.

You must be willing and able to:

• Stand up and move for most - if not all - of your shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work weekends and holidays
• Get to work in inclement weather (we are from Buffalo, we don’t close for snow)
