Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical (Night Shift, 12-Hour)

As an RN in our Medical/Surgical unit, you will leverage your expertise to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care, ensuring positive health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Delegate appropriately and effectively to licensed and ancillary team members.
  • Educate patients and their families, addressing diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, standards, and hospital policies.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient interactions and interventions.
  • Strive to enhance patient satisfaction, safety, and clinical outcomes.
  • Stay informed of current federal, state, and local regulations affecting nursing practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic health records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area.
  • Additional language proficiency.
  • Advanced training or certifications related to patient safety or quality improvement.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Nursing diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Other Requirements:
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and withstand the physical demands of the role.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts.
  • Exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Work Details:
  • Shift: Night, 12-Hour Shifts
  • Start Date: 05/04/2026
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $54.31
  • Benefits include competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, referral bonuses, paid sick leave, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses.
