Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), supporting a diverse student population across various school sites throughout a dynamic district near Plano, TX. This full-time, itinerant position spans the 2026–2027 school year, with scheduled hours of 37.5 each week from August 11, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
In this role, you will be instrumental in addressing significant disproportionality within the district, collaborating with both general education and special education students. Your expertise will also be tapped for staff training and the supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring best practices are implemented district-wide.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas BCBA license is required
- Substantial school-based experience strongly preferred
- Previous work with both general and special education populations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training to educational staff
- Experience supervising or providing guidance to RBTs is desirable
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting if not already cleared through a Texas public school district (process may take up to 7 days)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop targeted intervention plans for students across various school settings
- Provide evidence-based support to improve student outcomes and address patterns of disproportionality
- Deliver training and consultation for teachers, support staff, and other professionals
- Supervise and mentor RBTs working district-wide
- Serve as a collaborative resource for school site teams and administrators
