Technical Sales Engineer | Lockheed Martin
We are seeking a highly motivated early career Sales Engineer to support the sales team in developing sales for our commercial space product lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying leads, fielding initial customer questions, maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, supporting tradeshows and assist marketing with our website, social media, presentations, videos and datasheet content.
Qualify leads that have been generated by our website, advertising and tradeshows
Answer initial customer questions about our products
Assist customers in selecting the best products for their needs with the assistance of the Sales Manager and Engineering Team
Maintain Microsoft Office Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management database and assist marketing with email blasts.
Assist marketing with our website, social media, presentations, videos and datasheets with technical content
Write technical articles and fact sheets with the assistance of the engineering team
Support marketing with tradeshow planning, product selection, staging and storage
Prepare Request for Costing/Proposal for standard products
Assist marketing with website, presentation and datasheet content
Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Engineering, Physics or related field from a four-year college or university or equivalent technician sales experience. Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of space materials, thermal control coatings, optical coatings and filters or material science Experience in technical sales Experience in Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications
