Job Summary / Purpose
Responsible for Financial Accounting of all Grants and Foundation activities across the System in accordance with CHI policies and generally accepted accounting principles. The accounting functions include: month-end close process, recording cash activities, journal entries, account reconciliation’s, account analysis, and other assigned tasks. Assists with the development of tools and processes to develop internal controls, work-flow processes, and desk procedures.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. Minimum of five to seven years of experience in accounting, which includes three to five years appropriate experience in specialty area (depending on location, . grant accounting, financial reporting). CPA certificate preferred
