Position Overview Responsible for the initial review of all loan files received from the sales department. Add preliminary condition of files; ensure that they meet the general guidelines as set forth by FHA, FNMA, FHMLC, & HUD Federal and State guidelines.
Essential Job Functions - Organize, identify, clear or mark received docs submitted in images
- Complete UWAR Screens with licensing info and validate current E&O information
- Validate in CnC; property value, borrowers identification, and income accuracy
- Confirm proper disclosure; meeting federal and state guidelines
- Preliminary review of new files; identify outstanding issues needed to meet both the company and investor guidelines
- Data Verify; borrower identification, market value of property, determine if borrower has multi properties that were not disclosed on initial application, regional viability of property
- Verify employment, and income of borrower
- Order TALX or 4506T to confirm income of borrower
- Complete Tracking Screens for FHA Loans, FHA Case Number, & Caivrs
- Request Flood Certifications and notify Processor if in a Flood Zone for proper coverage
- Dialogue file; informing sales and assigned DE Underwriter of status and pertinent details of files
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of two years of experience with conforming or FHA loans
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Detail oriented a must
- Strong analytical abilities
