Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide onsite plant electrical support for manufacturing operations – to include operational troubleshooting, continuous improvement and support of new program launches.
Monitor equipment and process downtime drivers and provide engineered solutions to address safety, quality, and throughput.
Review new equipment and processes as part of a team to ensure Inteva safety and electrical specifications are met.
Equipment/processes ready to PPAP 100% on time
Provide equipment controls engineering support for new equipment projects
Provide new equipment specifications and generate equipment requests for quotations
Position Requirements
REQUIRED: - Experience in design and/or build of manufacturing systems - Extensive experience in machine controls and PLC programming/hardware - Effective problem solving skills - Competent ability with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. - Works effectively in a team environment - Strong degree of self-motivation and self-direction - Willingness to travel to support plant launches - Strong organization,communication, and documentation skills - Competent in PanelView Plus, Contrologix 5000 & Allen Bradley PLC5 PREFERRED: -Familiarity with instrument panel manufacturing systems, tools, processes, and materials -Robotic systems experience -Familiarity with the MSD process -Ability to manage multiple tasks under demanding situations -Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles -Familiarity with PFMEA implementation
