Job Description:

Pay Range: $47hr - $52hr
  • The Azure Cloud Consultant will design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and event-driven cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • This role will focus on serverless architectures, containerized Java applications, distributed systems, and enterprise cloud integrations.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strong engineering contributor who participates in architecture design, system analysis, development, deployment, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement serverless solutions using Azure Functions and Azure Durable Functions with Java.
  • Build event-driven architectures leveraging Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Grid.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized Java applications on Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Integrate Azure services into enterprise Java applications ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for Java-based workloads.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems and microservices environments.
  • Participate in architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities.
  • Develop high-quality, production-ready software using best-practice data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Write scalable, secure, and high-performance code with ownership from development through production support.
  • Produce and maintain complete technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Implement test-driven development and continuous delivery practices using automated testing frameworks.
  • Monitor production systems and ensure operational excellence and reliability.
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Azure Durable Functions using Java.
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus for messaging and queueing solutions.
  • Experience with Azure Event Grid for event routing and publish-subscribe architectures.
  • Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service for container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Java 11 or higher, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
  • Solid understanding of Azure security best practices including RBAC, Managed Identities, and networking configurations.
Additional Skills and Experience:
  • Experience designing and developing secure enterprise applications and products.
  • Experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation supporting deployment and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and adherence to scrum processes.
  • Ability to interpret technology lifecycle roadmaps and plan remediation for End of Life or End of Support systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate certification.
  • Experience with distributed systems, high availability, and Java performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with Azure API Management, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
