Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Cardiology Gainesville, FL | Clinic & Hospital Mix | New Grads Welcome The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI), a partner of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its growing cardiology team in Gainesville and affiliated hospital settings.
About the Practice TCAVI is a well-established cardiovascular group providing comprehensive heart and vascular care across Central Florida.
Our collaborative team includes 23 physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers, offering a strong clinical environment with built-in mentorship and support.
Position Overview This role provides a mix of clinic-based and hospital-based cardiology care and is well suited for both experienced APPs and motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiology.
Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in clinic and acute care settings Participate in inpatient rounding and hospital consults alongside physicians Evaluate patients, order diagnostic testing, manage medications, and document care Supervise stress testing and coordinate additional orders as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Qualifications Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant New graduates encouraged to apply; training and mentorship provided Prior cardiology or cardiovascular RN experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered approach What We Offer Competitive compensation with bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Supportive, team-oriented environment with ongoing training and professional growth Powered by JazzHR
