Teller/Banker

Location: Alexandria, VA (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary:

Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced banking environment while processing teller transactions and assisting customers with financial products and account inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and credit card payments.
• Handle cash accurately and balance transactions in a high-volume environment.
• Verify customer identity and review accounts for alerts, discrepancies, or potential fraud.
• Assist customers with account inquiries, products, and services.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional banking products based on customer needs.
• Use multiple banking systems to process transactions and document activity.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Teller/Banker, cash-handling experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to navigate multiple systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation:
