Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 QA Inspectors for a contract opportunity inStuart, FL.



Job Duties Inspects Assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements Documents discrepancies per applicable procedures Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data and verbal instructions Uses precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks Maintains necessary documentation and records Monitors and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives Other related duties as assigned Qualifications Accredited HS Diploma or GED and 0 to 1 year of inspection experience required in the manufacturing of aerospace components/assemblies Ability to effectively interact/communicate with all disciplines Working knowledge of Boeing Specifications & Blueprints preferred Public Content Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Able to understand shop mathematics to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and Inspection procedures. Ability to use inspection tools such as, scales, thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers, go no-go gauges, dial indicators, and split ball gauges Willing to work any shift Ability to read and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job Excellent organization skills Excellent attention to details Must be a Team player Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Have full range of motion required to perform the job functions. Maintain steady hand-eye coordination. Reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
