Job description

Summary:
  • Hybrid position: Regularly days onsite at Mission Center Building (MCB) with work from home on other days.
  • Period of performance: Immediate to an estimated months, duration may vary based on need.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage high volume of invoices and ensure timely payment.
  • Obtain approvals for invoices.
  • Check invoices for budget and compliance.
  • Process and code invoices and credit memos.
  • Research, identify, and resolve complex invoice issues related to electronic invoices and unpaid invoices.
  • Assist with managing AP related documents.
  • Familiarity with sales and use tax requirements and assessing amounts on invoices appropriately.
  • Understand and identify transactions subject to reporting.
  • Provide guidance on company policies in procure-to-pay policies.
  • Review and approve payment requests according to company policy and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to departmental users and vendors.
  • Ensure work queues are managed within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Create and run departmental reports or operational monitoring, critical daily operation, and ad-hoc reports for analysis.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud (Oracle Fusion) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in other large ERP systems acceptable if candidates are quick learners and adaptable.
  • Hospital/University (UC) experience is required for this role.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in online Accounts Payable system (, Oracle Cloud or other large ERP system).
  • GHX and Oracle Cloud system experience required.
  • Proficient in Excel and ability to manage large data sets and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Good reading comprehension skills.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive situations with tact.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage workload.
  • Bright and quick learner.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
