Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work closely and support a variety of skilled trades and construction activities. Follow directives from Project Foreman and remain productive. Load, offload, move and organize supplies, materials, tools and small equipment at company yards and job sites. Prepare work sites, maintain safe work sites. Perform trade for long hours, day after day, often in adverse conditions, to complete the project at hand. Responsible for reporting any incident, situation or activity that may affect the Company’s ability to operate safely, ethically and profitably to the supervisor and the Company Safety Manager. Duty to conduct oneself in the best interest of the company while on the job or representing CEI. Maintain any required certifications mandatory by law or company policy. Perform other duties as assigned. Willing to travel Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Level of Experience Requirements: 0-1 years relevant experience Must have reliable transportation Must pass Fit For Duty physical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics All around knowledge of materials, terms, and practices in construction field. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to work in a team environment, take directions from supervisor(s) and other crew members Ability to actively listen and follow instructions. Ability to work productively under pressure. Strong self-motivation and work ethic; ability to work with or without direct supervision. Ability to report to work consistently on time and work a flexible schedule, up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week. Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company. Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software. Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally. Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information. Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Time management and prioritization – balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Problem‑solving and critical thinking – analyzing issues and selecting appropriate solutions. Interpersonal and teamwork skills – building rapport and collaborating effectively with others. Attention to detail – producing accurate, error‑free work. Preferred One-year experience in the construction field preferred. This is a physically strenuous and demanding job that involves pulling and managing equipment and objects. Work in all weather and must be prepared for both extreme cold and heat. Will be working around heavy equipment. Construction sites – outdoor or partially sheltered areas with ongoing building activity Warehouses / distribution centers – indoor spaces with loading docks, storage racks, forklifts Manufacturing facilities – production floors with machinery, tools, and assembly stations Outdoor environments – landscaping, groundskeeping, road work, or site cleanup Industrial sites – plants, mills, or utility areas requiring strict safety protocols Supervisory Responsibilities This position will not have supervisory responsibilities. DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions. Additional Qualifying Factors As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
