A Taste of What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Seasonal Operator to join our team at California Natural Color for our harvest season. We anticipate the Seasonal Operator will work under the immediate supervision of their shift Team Leader and perform various duties within the plant from July - October. As a Seasonal Operator, you will be responsible for performing general laboring activities, including sanitation and operating equipment. As a Seasonal Operator, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as monitoring tank levels, building hose line ups utilizing pumps for product transfer, tank cleaning, and washing the interior and exterior of tanks. You must follow all safety policies and procedures while performing these duties to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. Additionally, you will perform all associated janitorial functions and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess basic knowledge of equipment operation. What You'll Need

  • Required to work any shift.
  • Required to lift up 50 pounds.
  • Required to work overtime if necessary.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.   • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
