  • Utilize advanced technical queries (such as SQL or similar scripting languages) to access, analyze, and validate data across multiple systems.

  • Coordinate with associates across departments to understand business requirements and assess data impacts.

  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to identify potential data issues or mismatches and propose effective solutions.

  • Document lineage and flow of data from origin to final reporting output, ensuring transparency for regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.

  • Provide technical expertise during system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements, with primary focus on mapping and data integration impacts.

  • Provide informed recommendations that balance immediate business needs with long-term scalability and data integrity.

  • Assist in defining and documenting data management policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Engage effectively with both technical and business audiences. Communicate technical information clearly to associates who may not have a data/IT background.

Qualifications:

  • Experience gathering and documenting data requirements, developing mapping documents, and managing metadata.

  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security principles in financial environments.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; able to think critically about requirements, risks, and dependencies.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders.
