This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $48.00/hr.

Actalent is hiring for several Software Engineers to join our team! We are seeking individuals with 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of tasks and work independently on them.
- Engage in design discussions, bug fixing, and code reviews.
- Participate in and contribute to team discussions.
- Mentor interns or new hires, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Work on embedded hardware or low-level communication protocol
- Develop applications running in custom Linux builds and some bare-metal systems for sensors and regulators.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering in C++.
- Proficiency in embedded software, Linux, and nice to have, Yocto.
- Nice to have: experience in cybersecurity.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate previous experience in software engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
