Job description

SQL Database Administrator Level:

  • Senior Location: Fort Belvoir, VA Minimum Qualifications: Eight years of experience in SQL database administration supporting and managing databases in a production environment - Five years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations.
  • Five years of experience with T-SQL and ability to write scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance functions.
  • Three years of experience serving as a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, validate team members’ work consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines.
  • Three years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.
  • Three years of experience planning and implementing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs.

Education:

  • Certifications: TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) or SQL Server 2016 or SQL Database Administration Certification; DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification Approved IAT Level II Certifications (Commonly Accepted) CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) – Most widely required CompTIA CySA+ CompTIA PenTest+ GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) Cisco CCNA Security – Retired, but still honored if previously earned EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND) (ISC)² Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) – Qualifies for both Level I and Level II Powered by JazzHR
