ASM Global, the leading venue management company, is now hiring for part-time parking supervisors at Save Mart Center.
Job Summary: Responsible for directing and observing the lot attendants during work shifts. Directing and observing the orderly flow of traffic for all venue events while keeping upper Management informed of updated traffic progress as needed.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications: Must possess a working knowledge of parking practices and procedures including monetary reconciliation, traffic control set up / tear down and strong customer service. Must have safety knowledge and training to assure a safe environment is provided.
Experience: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior supervisory experience a plus. Minimum of two years parking lot experience.
Skills/Aptitudes: This position requires the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Must follow written and oral directions from upper Management. Must have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to interact within a diverse environment. Must have the ability to take charge and direct staff in a professional manner at all times. This position requires the ability to act and respond professionally and politely to all individuals and work as a team member. Most be able to stand long periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.
Working Conditions: Must be able to work varied schedules & flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to tolerate hot and/or cold weather conditions for the duration of each work shifts.
