Benefits Administrator I




Location:

Irvine, CA (Hybrid- in office 2 days per week)




Employment Type:

Temp to Hire




Pay:

$25/hr.






About the Role



The Benefits Administrator I supports the employee benefits team by managing essential administrative tasks and ensuring accurate, timely handling of benefits-related data. This role plays a key part in organizing reporting files, assisting analysts with ongoing and ad-hoc projects, and maintaining a smooth flow of information across carriers, vendors, and internal teams.



This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, excels in organizing information, and is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.






What You'll Do




  • Gather, track, and maintain financial reports and supporting documents from various benefit carriers and vendors.


  • Provide day-to-day assistance to Benefits Analysts, including data organization, file setup, and project support.


  • Prepare and structure digital files for new plan years as well as prospective client opportunities.


  • Contribute to team efficiency by completing administrative tasks and special assignments as needed.




What You Bring




Education




  • A combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.


  • Bachelor's degree, required; in fields such as business, finance, accounting, or economics is preferred.




Experience & Skills




  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and functions.


  • Experience creating or manipulating pivot tables is a plus.


  • Analytical or data-handling experience preferred.


  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.


  • High attention to detail and the ability to remain organized with large volumes of information.


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and contribute positively in both independent and team settings.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Excel).
