Job Summary: Performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instruction for and coordinating activities of the Security and Protective Services program.

Qualifications:
Minimum: Currently holds a Guard Card or Guard Trainer Certification from the State in which you work in. Possesses practical experience in the subject/training area; must have the ability to transfer topical knowledge to meet specific learning objectives; extensive practical knowledge of Security and Protective Services careers and fields. Certified Protection Officer Instructor Certification or ability to become certified. Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and satisfy minimum qualifications criteria relating to education, teaching experience, formal training, and security experience.
Preferred: Career Technical Training or Adult Education Teaching Credential; Bachelor’s degree in related field; Certified Protection Officer Instructor Certification; Teaching or training experience within the security field.
