Akkodis is seeking an Empyrean Developer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT (Remote). The candidate will support and maintain the Empyrean application by troubleshooting issues, performing root‑cause analysis, and ensuring stable system performance. Rate Range $53/hour to $60/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day technical support for the Empyrean application, ensuring system stability, availability, and optimal performance. Troubleshoot application issues by performing root‑cause analysis and implementing fixes, enhancements, or configuration updates as needed. Assist business users with system navigation, data validation, and reporting requirements while maintaining high service levels. Support integrations with other enterprise systems through data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring of interface workflows. Participate in application upgrades, patches, and cloud migration initiatives, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption. Document technical procedures, configurations, and support processes to maintain accurate knowledge artifacts and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 6–8 years of experience in application support, maintenance, or enterprise system operations. Strong hands‑on experience supporting enterprise applications, performing root‑cause analysis, and managing integrations with upstream/downstream systems. Ability to handle system upgrades, patches, and cloud or application migration activities while documenting processes and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
