ANALYST, MEDIA ANALYTICS

AMP Agency is looking for curious, thoughtful, technology-driven storytellers to join its Performance Analytics team. Our team is inspired by the idea of continuous improvement, and is working to build a best-in-class culture and capability set; to drive excellence in both our client work and our own ways of working.

The Analyst will work on the front lines of our practice – preparing data for analysis, analyzing data, collaborating with team members to craft meaningful stories, and helping to build reports for clients. This person will ideally become a trusted expert regarding their clients' marketing performance data, and will be asked to help team members across functions with accessing and interpreting results. They will work closely with an Analytics Lead to develop their skill-set, while also ensuring that we deliver an accurate, context-rich, and useful output to our clients.

Requirements/Skills:

  • Intellectually curious, analytical, and passionate about data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interpret and present business value to our clients.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working with data in some Marketing or Web Analytics capacity is preferred.
  • Experience with a digital analytics solution (g. DoubleClick, Facebook Business Manager, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is preferred.
  • Experience with presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote) is preferred.
  • Experience with a data analysis/visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Agency or brand marketing experience (from an internship or other full-time role) is a plus.
  • Experience with ETL tools (Funnel, Domo, Alteryx) is a plus.
  • Experience with a tagging solution (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Tealium) is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Extract, clean and integrate data from disparate data sources – helping to build reports that inform, educate, and engage our clients.
  • Analyze media campaign performance, website traffic, and user engagement using various analytics tools and create clear and insightful reports
  • Support internal teams by identifying the “what” and explaining the “why” found in data trends, building actionable insights from the work.
  • Collaborate across functional teams (e.g. Media, Creative, Tech) to identify opportunities for both client optimization and internal improvement.
  • Help to build presentations and other client-facing documentation.
