Doernbecher Pediatrics at Bethany Village is a pediatric primary care clinic committed to providing high-quality, family-centered care to children from birth through young adulthood (21 years of age). Our team offers a full spectrum of services including preventive care through well-child visits, acute care for illnesses, and behavioral and mental health support. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with additional availability on Saturdays to improve access for busy families. We work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote healthy development and positive health outcomes for every child.

This position works in a busy environment with many interruptions, multiple demands and interactions. This position will check in and check out a high volume of patients in the clinic while maintaining a high level of customer service by multitasking and scheduling.

Function / Duties Of Position

Customer Service :

• Provide the highest level of customer service to both external customers (patients and their families, referring providers, insurance carriers, etc.) and internal customers (OHSU health care providers and staff) that meet or exceed the service standards of the health care industry.
• This duty includes prompt and professional communication efforts, face-to-face customer contact skills, crisis management, facility with available information technology, standard complaint processing, flexible coverage of internal service needs and the continuous application of process improvement methods and skills.
