Now celebrating our tenth year, Yvonne’s is a contemporary New American restaurant that blends timeless hospitality with a vibrant, modern sensibility. For a decade, we’ve been known for our seasonal, ingredient-driven menu, creative cocktails, and a dining experience that balances elegance with energy. Our culinary team draws inspiration from classic techniques and global influences to create dishes that feel both familiar and inspired. We’re looking for a dedicated Sous Chef to join our leadership team and help shape the next chapter of Yvonne’s kitchen.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Chef in leading all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Oversee daily prep, service, and station organization to ensure smooth execution.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff while maintaining a positive, professional culture.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
  • Uphold high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Contribute ideas for menu development, seasonal specials, and events that reflect our culinary vision.

3+ years of professional kitchen experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. * Strong knowledge of New American cuisine and modern cooking techniques. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Ability to lead by example and maintain composure under pressure. * Commitment to seasonality, sustainability, and hospitality-driven cooking.
