De Mott Law (DMCA) is a dynamic, fast-paced, and steadily growing immigration law firm dedicated to making a real difference in people's lives. We're currently seeking a bright and compassionate Law Clerk to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a 2L, 3L, or recent J.D. graduate with a strong passion for immigration law and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a meaningful practice area.
You'll work in a supportive, professional environment where collaboration and growth are encouraged, and your work truly makes a difference.
What You'll Do:
Assist attorneys by conducting legal research and writing memoranda
Draft briefs, declarations, and supporting documents for various immigration matters
Review case files and pleadings to help develop legal strategies
Apply your analytical skills to understand factual scenarios and the legal principles at play
Who You Are:
A 2L, 3L, or recent J.D. graduate with a strong interest in immigration law
A clear, confident writer with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Someone who can prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
Bilingual in English and Spanish? Even better!
