Location: Encino, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Flexibility Required: Occasional overnights and weekend care when the family is traveling or away
Compensation: $40-$45 per hour, DOE + Benefits

A friendly and energetic high-profile family of four in Encino is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and bilingual Caregiver/Companion to support their 87-year-old mother. She is a friendly, strong willed, and sociable Latina woman who would thrive with a patient, conversational companion who enjoys outings like shopping, having lunch together and going to painting/art classes.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, enjoys working in a family / home office environment, and is comfortable pitching in with support for the family’s two teenage boys (ages 13 and 15) as needed. This is a long-term position that requires dependability, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for elder care.
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and games to support mind
Provide personal care and medication management
Accompany & drive the client on errands, grocery shopping trips, health appointments, and outings
Prepare family meals (lunch / dinner)
Run errands for the household as needed
Provide overnight and weekend care when the family is out of town
Occasionally supervise or assist with the teenage boys (and 2 pomeranians)
Maintain a calm, caring, and professional presence in a high-profile home
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional caregiving experience
Minimum 5 years working in a high-profile or private household
Fluent in both Spanish and English
Warm, patient, and personable demeanor
Clean driving record and comfortable driving an SUV
Naturally driven to take initiative and make improvements
Comfortable with dogs and pet-friendly
Flexible for occasional overnights and weekends
Excellent references from previous long-term roles
