The Facility Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to buildings and common areas to ensure proper functioning of machinery, equipment, facilities and applicable systems, and to prevent breakdowns. **NIGHT SHIFT **
Responsibilities:
Work independently to complete general building maintenance, including maintaining flooring, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, locking and painting
Schedule preventative maintenance services, including HVAC, plumbing, alarming, roof, locking, landscaping, fire protection and lighting system
Monitor and evaluate building maintenance contract and service work
Work collaboratively with other departments on cost reduction projects
Support ISO 9001 activities
Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies
Conduct other duties as required
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in general industrial facilities maintenance
Completion of a Building Maintenance Technology diploma/certificate, or comparable program preferred
HVAC Certification preferred
Able to work on 12 hour night shift
Good written and verbal communication skills
