Come be a part of a dynamic and cooperative team that supports the Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance departments at Publix. We are a team that is constantly incorporating modern technology into our toolset. We support both vendor and custom, proprietary applications. We are seeking a technical candidate that can develop and support quality applications while following best practices and has experience troubleshooting complex systems. This position includes performing systems analysis, presenting recommendations, coding in and SQL, documenting, maintaining and implementing applications through all development lifecycles. Further, the candidate should be able to perform in multiple roles over multiple projects simultaneously.

Please note, this is a hybrid position requiring 8 days per month on-site in Lakeland, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop applications as well as unique solutions for each application
  • Develop requirements and design documents that meet business objectives
  • Enhance critical interface applications that support the business area
  • Open communication with the business area, vendors, and other technical teams
  • Troubleshoot and support applications and daily business processes
  • Perform database analysis and data analytics
  • Willingness to work on-call rotations and after-hours support on an as-needed basis
