About the Clinician's WorkdayThe nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive urgent care services managing acute conditions and minor injuries for patients of all ages during day shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate electronic documentation, coordinating patient care with nursing staff and medical assistants, and managing 2-3 patients per hour in a collaborative urgent care environment. The position requires board certification with prescriptive authority and involves Monday through Thursday schedules with occasional Saturday shifts. The clinician will work alongside supervising physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure efficient patient care delivery and maintain quality standards for acute medical presentations.
