Biomedical Neuroscience Online Programs

The department is home to two rapidly expanding online programs, including the first and only fully online Master of Science in Neuroscience in the United States, as well as a Graduate Online Certificate Program. With enrollment exceeding hundreds of students and continuing to grow, these programs present a significant opportunity for a Lecturer to contribute to and help shape a highly marketable, scalable, and nationally distinctive educational portfolio.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Lecturer to support and expand our rapidly growing online neuroscience programs. The anticipated start date is August , 6, though an earlier start may be negotiable. The ideal candidate will have broad training in the neurosciences and a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching didactic courses. In addition to contributing to existing required coursework, the Lecturer will be expected to develop new elective offerings that enhance the breadth, flexibility, and marketability of the curriculum. Primary duties for this position are instructional but involvement in service at the department, college, and university levels is also expected. Experience with online instructional platforms, including Canvas and VoiceThread, is strongly preferred, as the position emphasizes high-quality, scalable digital course delivery aligned with best practices in online education.

Required Qualifications:
Successful applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field
Preferred:
Successful applicants will have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching didactic courses.
