Electrical Design EngineerThe Electrical Design Engineer will support the development of advanced electrical systems and components for high‑performance vehicle programs. This is a hands‑on, collaborative role involving design work, prototyping, assembly trials, supplier coordination, and cross‑functional teamwork. Responsibilities include designing electrical components and subsystems, creating 3D / 2D models, and developing wire harnesses and high‑voltage components.
Key Responsibilities-Design and develop electrical components, subsystems, wire harnesses, and high‑voltage systems-Perform 3D / 2D modeling and engineering calculations to meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets-Support prototype builds, assembly trials, and manufacturing activities-Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams throughout the development cycle-Maintain BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation; support DFM reviews-Troubleshoot design and build issues, provide timely updates, and meet project deadlines-Participate in cross‑functional meetings and contribute to technical problem‑solving
Requirements-3-5+ years of electrical design engineering experience (automotive, motorsports, or aerospace preferred)-Proficiency with CATIA V5 / V6 or 3D Experience-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field-Hands‑on experience with high‑voltage systems, wire harness design, and core engineering fundamentals-Ability to interpret engineering drawings, create BOMs, and perform tolerance stack‑ups-Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills-Willingness to travel for vendor visits, testing, or track support
