Job Description
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electronics circuit design, firmware, hardware, embedded systems, and related areas. They should be capable of translating design specifications from engineering teams into comprehensive proposals and project quotes. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to provide valuable solutions to clients, ultimately facilitating the journey from prototype to marketplace for our clients' products.
Responsibilities:
• Manage leads generated by the Sales & Marketing Department, guiding them from initial contact to closing sales and updating CRM records.
• Collaboratively define, evaluate, and create proposals for project scopes, involving interactions with prospects and remote/home-based staff.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients to ensure ongoing business partnerships.
• Play a role in the company's growth by actively engaging in sales outreach, participating in business events, and contributing to marketing activities.

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience, preferably in a design services firm within the technology or product development sector, or a similar design/engineering/project/service-oriented firm.
• An engineering background, with a preference for Sales Engineering.
• Experience in sales within an electronic component company or similar organization.
• Previous roles in program management or engineering at a technology hardware company with responsibilities for technical, financial, and scheduling aspects.
• Deep familiarity with the task sequence involved in new product development.
• Proven ability to communicate with engineering executives and corporate decision-makers, handling projects ranging from $100K to $500K for a variety of companies, from startups to medium-sized corporations and large enterprises.
• Background in engineering, design, and project management, particularly in electronics, medical devices, and various industries, including sensor development, wearables, and emerging technologies.
• A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree (e.g., BSEE, BSME, BSCS, ASET) is advantageous.
