Phoenix Childrenâ€s is expanding! We are recruiting for a Lab Technical Specialist - Chemistry to join our Laboratory team. $7500 sign on bonus is offered. This is an onsite, system-level, full-time, salaried position. The Technical Specialist works closely with the MD/PhD Section Director to provide technical support across all lab locations in the valley. Areas of responsibilities include SOPs, test system verifications/validations, QA/QC, training and competency program, proficiency testing, inspection readiness, and other technical related duties. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of clinical lab experience in Chemistry as well as ASCP certification.
This position works collaboratively with Section Supervisor, Section Director, and Manager to provide technical supervision for assigned staff to ensure high quality daily technical operations. Achieves and complies with established operating budget, quality control, inventory management and regulatory standards. This position receives managerial review of completed work activities from the Section Supervisor.
