Lower Elementary Teacher

McKenzie Montessori is located in beautiful Springfield, Oregon. 1 hour to the coast or the mountains. We enjoy all the seasons with many local outdoor activities. Centrally located in the state of Oregon, McKenzie Montessori is a staple in the community.
Our school opened its doors in 2008 and is a small community of 133 students and staff of 35. We offer \ Montessori educational services and care to infants 6 weeks to age 12 and 3rd grade.
Responsibilities Include; Experience preferred: working in a classroom of up to 30 students, grades K through 3rd. Staying up to date on state benchmarks for each grade and aligning the Montessori lessons accordingly. Maintaining accurate records, a clean and tidy classroom with the prepared environment every morning. Self directed, dedicated to the school and its alumni, personable and a pleasing demeanor. All regular classroom responsibilities in the classroom and out including parent communications, parent conferences, and meetings.

Special qualifications: Montessori Certified Primary(preferred) and Lower Elem (required)
