Position Summary

We are seeking a Professional Surveyor to join our growing team of civil and engineering professionals. In this role, you’ll lead and participate in land surveying and site development projects, collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver accurate and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult directly with clients to understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables

  • Assist in preparing detailed proposals, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project execution

  • Coordinate and work closely with field crews, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in survey operations

  • Conduct and review deed and boundary research to support project decisions and legal compliance

  • Perform field surveying work, including equipment setup, GPS data collection, and quality control checks

  • Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to develop precise survey drawings, topographic maps, and construction documentation

  • Perform survey computations, calculations, and adjustments with exceptional attention to detail

  • Support the engineering and design teams with base mapping and existing condition documentation

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

  • Registered Professional Surveyor (PS) in the State of Ohio, or on track to obtain licensure

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, boundary surveys, and construction staking

  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a team-oriented attitude

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to producing quality work

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience and certifications)
